If you've never had a chess pie before, it is similar to a custard pie. Chess pies originated in the south and come in all flavors. This one is beautifully flavored with local honey from Honeyrun Farm and organic tahini (a sesame paste). The sesame both compliments the honey and cuts the sweetness, making this pie hard to stop eating.
ICE BOX KEY LIME PIE
One of the great American classics made with organic Cadia Honey Grahams, organic limes, and farm fresh eggs from Harrison Farm in Groveport Ohio. This delicious quiche starts with free range eggs from Harrison Farm in Groveport, which is owned and operated by the one and only Katherine Harrison. Mushrooms are slowly sautéed with a touch of herbs and spices, then mixed with Manchego cheese, a sheep's cheese from Spain with a slight nutty flavor. This all gets baked to perfection in a flaky, buttery crust. Absolutely delicious.

This is followed by a layer of rich chocolate ganache (using Fair Trade chocolate from Theo Chocolate). Homemade caramel is mixed with toasted coconut for the next layer.
